Recorded at a Northland beach house in pristine crystaline beauty by Tex Houston (3Ds, Able Tasmans, Verlaines...and the rest) on the mobile Fish Street Recording Studio in May 2000 and finished in the abandoned Flying Nun Queen Street offices, United State is for many a classic Flying Nun release. From the brilliant pop damaged "Uh Oh" to the title track s ominous hypno-boogaloo, United State is a sonic kraut tinged groove fest that s guaranteed to keep the part (whether it s in yr head or on the sidewalk) going.
