看到封面上有不知道算到幾位數的「圓周率」後的第一直覺可以想像是數學派的後搖滾，但從專輯名稱讀出的卻是大衛林區的《沙丘魔堡》概念專輯，摸不著頭緒的混亂是整張專輯的本體，後龐克與數學搖滾打架後產生的瘋狂作品。


As the title suggests, this album was inspired by David Lynch infamous sci-fi box-office disasterpiece, Dune. It was recorded at WGNS in Washington, DC by Charles Bennington in 1997. It is the only studio album by Louisville post-punk/math-rock misfits, Nero.
