These are the solo piano tracks of Lubomyr Melnyk s Magnum Opus: WINDMILLS which tells the story of an old windmill that is awakened to life by the wind, only to be destroyed by the ensuing storm. ... This Cd contains the complete works used for the double piano version, to which the composer added the second piano, live. The Song Of Farewell (Windmill s ghost singing to the world as he rises into the heavens) was a fusion of earlier versions crystallized into this final melodic episode, 2 months after the initial recording was made in 2012.
