是巨人の通算４作目のスタジオ録音。 演奏される楽曲は複雑怪奇を極めており、全員のパートが一拍ずつ、もしくは小節単位でズレながら進行し、モアレ状に広がってやがて収束していくポリリズム／ポリシーケンス的な手法を全面的に導入しているのが特徴的だ。 本作はグループ史上最も演奏するのが難しいとされる冒頭３曲から始まり、その後はヘヴィロックからメタル、Ｒ＆Ｒ、果ては美麗なバラードに至るまで多用なスタイルを是巨人流に料理したバラエティに富んだ楽曲を収録。

The 4th recording of KORE KYOJIN is newly launched by the leading musicians of the Japanese avant-garde music scene; Natsuki Kido, Mitsuru Nasuno, and Tatsuya Yoshida. The new album ‘TUNDRA’ boasts its variety of the tracks which are composed of the newly-interpreted Heavy Rock, Metal, R&R, and Ballad, and the experimental approach to the Polyrhythm.
