法國實驗音樂家 Laurent Jeanneau 化名的 Kink Gong 自 90 年代開始運作，整體的作品分為兩條主線，一是東南亞少數民族的聲音收集，另一則是以他所搜集的聲音素材去重整、拼貼建購實驗音景。

這張專輯是 Laurent 在 2006 - 2011 年間所收集的各式「唱佛機」的匯集。

Chang Fo Ji are small plastic boxes with various Buddhist loops available throughout China and Tibet.

Working with batteries, the small speaker can blast from poppy modern Chinese buddhist prayers to ancient recordings of famous tibetan buddhist masters. They can be taken everywhere for the listener to immerse himself into the minimalist and hypnotising world of buddhist prayers…

Both sides on this record contain various loops from various CHANG FO JI gathered in China by Laurent Jeanneau (KINK GONG) between 2006 and 2011.
