What a blues! Is he black or Japanese? Is he old or middle-aged? Is he speaking Japanese or English? I have no idea, but when I listen to it, I don t care about that. The incredible spirit of the song is rolling around in a doppelganger.

■A man bound by the blues of over 80 years ago, his voice is like a stream of blood and vomit. He expresses the harsh "environment" in which Robert Johnson, John Lee and other black giants lived through his own 21st century self. I think that this embodied awareness is something only a person of great artistic ability can have.

■The song "White Moon" is originally "Stormy Monday" by San Thomas, but it has been completely transformed and sounds completely original. It is what is called alternative music. From the beginning of the album, a distorted but solid electric guitar sound reminiscent of John Lee s Dark Muddy Bottom Blues roars. A few songs in the Delta Blues style follow, but from the fifth song onwards I began to feel the essence of this musician.
He is not just a blues musician. Is he growling or singing? Is he good or bad? Hattanda is on a level that does not allow us to think about such things.
