Hailing from The Netherlands, Gold was conceived in 2011 by guitarist Thomas Sciarone (ex-The Devils Blood) and vocalist Milena Eva; their distinct form of heavy rock is a monument to civilizations decline. Debut album Interbellum (Van Records) showed the promise of this unique band through its many riffs, hooks and, most notably, Evas unique vocal delivery.
Three years after their debut, Gold delivers on this promise with a a rawer, heavier, and much darker followup. No Image builds upon the foundation laid by predecessor, embracing its dark / death rock, loud indie rock, experimental music, and post-punk roots and delivering an altogether more enchanting, addictive and seductive work.
Recorded and mixed by Jeff Zeigler (Kurt Vile, The War On Drugs, Nothing) and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (YOB, Bell Witch, Sunn O))), Leviathan, etc.), No Image is the work of artists who have taken a good look in the mirror, pushed their ambitions, and reached deep within to collectively create a path of their own.
