The two pieces are played and recorded by Taiwanese improviser Fanyi Liu. He made these works originally for an experimental short film. Because they could be listened independently very well, we decided to release these cool recordings. Liu produced some interesting sound by putting things like stones, walnuts, retails of music boxes and thumb pianos on a snare drum and playing them altogether. Then he “collaborated” with them and recorded it with his own voice in Side A. In Side B we can hear much small but detailed sound and low frequency made by touching and scrubbing a musical bow. The album title and track names come from some stories Liu heard before which are now kind of eerie after interacting with the short film.
