音樂世界真的很大，認識到新團的定義未必是認識到近期組成的樂團，在唱片行看著五花八門的專輯封面，總是會有幾張特別令自己好奇，然後想要知道是什麼音樂，像這張看起來邪典邪典的封面，有怪雷達的朋友應該會有些好奇。

底特律 Cradle 樂團是由 60 年代全女子車庫搖滾樂團 The Pleasure Seekers 轉變而成，這個樂團最眾所皆知的是其貝斯手 Suzi Quatro，至今依舊活躍的女搖滾明星（今年還發了新專輯）；搖滾巨星的早期樂團往往令人好奇，Cradle 的這張黑膠收錄了Cradle 在 70 年代的一些現場演出錄音，可以聽得到當時搖滾音樂的情緒與精神。

Never able to fit the mold that label executives demanded, at the very end of 1969 the Quatro sisters Pleasure Seekers became Cradle. Though "the suits" weren t ready for them, their forward-thinking sound and quintessentially Detroit determination blazed a trail for the decades of hard-rocking women who followed -- as did their choice to remain true to themselves, no matter what. On LP for the first time, pressed on colored vinyl, and cut at 45!
