2004 秋天，在法國里昂(Lyon)，一群大男孩Mathieu, Alex, Kevin 和 Vivien 組成了金屬搖滾樂團─Aléa. 團名Aléa意指著生活中無法預料的事物，就如同他們的人與音樂，變化多端讓人充滿幻想與好奇。而藉由音樂反映出他們眼中現實社會的原貌與的獨特的生活體悟。經過多年的舞台經驗，今年2010年，Aléa在NSR錄音室完成的他們的第一張專輯'Mise en Abîme'，隨著這張專輯的發行和接下來的演出，Aléa將釋放出令人意想不到的法式金屬搖滾。
Aléa is a four piece Rock/Metal outfit from Lyon, France formed in fall 2004. The current line up gathers Mathieu, Alexandre, Kevin and Vivien. Through a consequent on-stage experience, the band managed to build up its true identity, offering an probant musical style, stained by many tangible influences. Following this train of thoughts, Aléa is now willing to share its music worldwide, through records or gigs. 2010 is the releasing year of their first Album entitled 'Mise en Abîme' recorded in the prestigious NSR Studio. The concept of a interlinked ideas is developed both textually and musically.
